01Who is A2O LITE?
A2O LITE is the first girl group from A2O Entertainment in Korea, the company founded in 2024 by Lee Soo-man, who also founded SM Entertainment. A boy group called A2O Soul sits alongside them under the same company.
The group held its debut showcase on Monday, October 12, 2026, at Kintex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, according to Korea JoongAng Daily.

03The debut song: NEON
The debut song “NEON” was released at 6 p.m. KST on October 13, 2026, and runs 3 minutes 28 seconds. Korea JoongAng Daily describes it as a bass driven dance pop track, and the company calls the style “Zalpha pop,” aimed at Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
On the production side, longtime SM producer Yoo Young-jin and U.S. producer Dem Jointz took part in the debut track, according to Sports Kyunghyang.

Melon is one of Korea's major music streaming platforms. Sports Kyunghyang reported that "NEON" topped the Melon Top 100 about 29 hours after release, and called it the fastest for a rookie group's debut song since the chart was overhauled in August 2021. That record is the outlet's own claim, and we have not verified it independently. The chart result was reported as of October 15, 2026, and rankings change daily.
04The concept and the tech
A2O LITE belongs to a fictional story universe called ACE, short for A2O Cosmic Epic, which begins on a planet named Soulite. Each member is described as having her own “color,” and those colors blend into new shades. The reports also say the members may form subunits with different lineups.
The showcase also leaned on technology. Korea JoongAng Daily reports that it used 4DGS (four dimensional Gaussian splatting), developed with Samsung Electronics, so a performance can be viewed from any angle, including 360 degree VR. The company also introduced an AI fan platform called Blooming Talk, which features AI avatars of the members.
